General
Manuscripts for the Journal should be sent to gj@geochem.jp. Authors, of any nationality, not necessarily members of the Geochemical Society of Japan are welcomed. Only papers not previously published will be accepted, and emphasis is placed upon originality and novelty. The text should be clear and concise, and detailed technical descriptions shall be given only when the methods are new.

Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts should be written in English and should be typed with double spacing. Total length should not exceed 4 pages in print, including figures and tables. Each manuscript should be organized in the following order: title, author's full name, affiliation, abstract, five keywords, text, acknowledgment, appendix, references. An abstract of not more than 250 words is requested. The abstract should be informative and include the principal findings and conclusions. PDF proofs will be sent to the author by e-mail, to be checked for printer's errors. After checking proofs, authors should send a list of corrections. References should be given in the text by quoting the author's name and the year of publication, i.e., Scott (1993). Full references should be listed in alphabetical order at the end of each paper.

Formats of manuscript
Acceptable formats are PDF (Portable Document Format), and MS Word.

Formats of figures
Acceptable formats are TIFF, PICT, PostScript (PS and EPS), and PDF. When including labels in figures, please use Helvetica font whenever possible.

Grayscale Bitmap Images:350 dpi
Monochrome Bitmap Images:800 dpi
Compress Text and Line Art:Yes

Please embed all fonts.

Final manuscript
After acceptance, authors will be requested to provide production-quality electronic figures and the file of the manuscript in PDF and MS Word formats.
